What skin type does CBD work best for?

CBD facial serum, CBD oil, CBD skin benefits, CBD skincare
Is CBD skincare right for me...???
What type of skin do you have... oily? dry? combination? Well good news CBD oil is good for ALL skin types!
I often get asked why should I put oil on my skin when I already have oily skin? A common mistake those with oily skin make is that they often use some form of a drying agent. They think that they are combatting the over production of oil that their body makes, when in turn they are doing the opposite. Our bodies are in constant search for a state of homeostasis, meaning balance. When your skin feels dry your body says oh I need to make more oil. Now I am not saying go slab on whatever oil you find, your skin is too smart for that, but CBD is just as smart. The molecular make up of CBD is very similar to that of the sebum that our skin makes, thus signaling to the skin hey it’s ok no need to create more oil I am here.

For my dry skin sisters it is a super hydrator that penetrates and provides lasting hydration. It is a powerful antioxidant that helps fight free radicals which are responsible for the aging of your skin. Other great properties that CBD oil provides; it helps decrease inflammation, carries a slight anti-microbial property that can fight off acne causing bacteria, and like mentioned before helps decrease over production of oil. It is non comedogenic, meaning it will not clog your pores.

Here at Lux and Leaf Wellness we use high grade broad spectrum CBD oil in our PURE GLOW facial serum. It includes other amazing non comedogenic organic oils and contains NO fillers. Click to see the full ingredient list.

We now see CBD infused into almost anything and everything. First things first when looking at a label you must be able to differentiate CBD from hemp seed oil. CBD will be listed as cannabidiol and hemp seed oil or hemp oil will be listed as cannabis sativa.
Secondly you must look to see is it really actually beneficial to have CBD in a particular product. I must admit I was skeptical of CBD soaps as it didn’t make sense to me given you are going to wash it off and not really get the full benefits, but after some research it makes sense for those with highly sensitive inflamed skin. I still don’t think they are as good as directly applying the oil to the skin as this is where you get the most bang for your buck.
CBD has flooded the market. When purchasing any product that contains CBD you want to buy from a company that is transparent and provides the third-party testing results as the industry is unregulated. I don’t recommend buying CBD products from your local gas station or even some grocery stores unless you are familiar with the brand, but I have yet to see a reputable brand at a grocery store.

I hope this helps make you feel more confident when looking to purchase any kind of CBD product. Here at Lux and Leaf Wellness we take quality and safety very serious. On our Pure Glow page our third-party testing is there for your review.
